Stewart and Bree - rent-vestors, who understood the importance of buying not only the right property for their young family but also one that would offer excellent long term growth.
We had an initial chat with Bree over the phone to setup a time to meet them in their apartment, to see their current residence and what they liked and didn't like about it. Initially they were looking to purchase a large apartment within the CBD as they felt it would best fit within their budget, life style and family needs.
During our discussion, we suggested they consider a villa unit, which is similar to a small house that would allow them to obtain their own outdoor space and room for their growing family.
After considering a number of options and showing some to the young couple- within approximately 4 weeks we found the right property. A three-bedroom villa unit still within an excellent location, with close access to the CBD, parks, transport, cafes and ideal for a growing family wanting the inner-city life style.
The property was scheduled to go to auction, so we've arranged a building inspection and full due diligence including agreeing on our final purchase figure on the property prior to attending auction day.
Bree and Stewart also attend the auction, where the property didn’t reach the vendor's accepted reserve price. So the property was passed in to Bree and Stewart and we negotiated with the agent and vendor until we agreed on not only a price but also settlement terms.
